Montreal Seasoned Steak
Montreal Seasoned Steak is so mouthwatering and sumptuous. It’s also a quick and easy way to prepare steak. I love steak. I love red meat which is not politically correct, but there it is. Probably because I grew up eating Roast Beef, Country Fried Steak and all the rest.

When we got married I didn’t know a lick about cooking. John had to teach me, even though my mother was a phenomenal cook. She didn’t want us in the kitchen. It was many, many years into our marriage before I got brave enough to cook or grill meats. John was always so good at it so why bother, right?
Montreal Seasoned Steak is John’s favorite way to grill steaks. It is mouthwatering and the meat comes out so delicious and succulent, you are sure to enjoy it. This recipe also works for pork or veggies.
We were out of propane so we cooked it on one of our indoor grills and it worked just fine. We don’t eat a lot of beef anymore but, when we do, this is usually the way we make it. Every time John grills Montreal Seasoned Steak we gobble it down very quickly!
If you’re looking for a wonderful steak recipe with very little prep work or difficulty–a recipe even your kids could make at home, then we recommend Montreal Seasoned Steak. This delectable recipe is a great one to keep on the back burner when you have to throw something together really quickly.
And, as I stated before, you can use the recipe for almost any kind of meat that you grill. This recipe is also gluten free for those with gluten intolerance. There are only two ingredients: steak and Montreal Steak Seasoning. It can’t get much easier than that.
When I first published this recipe in August 2012, we had made this steak for our oldest son’s birthday. I didn’t have a good camera at the time, nor did I know how to properly take pictures that were pleasing to the eye. On top of that I only snapped a couple of pictures because we wanted to eat hot steak, not cold! I recently remade this scrumptious steak recipe (January 2015) and snapped a few new pictures so you can get a better idea of how delicious this steak really is. Enjoy.
Fresh off the grill, Montreal Seasoned Steak is one of the most delectable ways to prepare steak.
Montreal Seasoned Steak is healthy, low calorie and gluten free.
We’ve always enjoyed this simple recipe for steak.
Here’s what I did.
I used these two ingredients–although we like to spray the grill with cooking spray before we grill the steaks to prevent sticking.
Spray your grill with cooking spray. Sprinkle Montreal Steak Seasoning on each side of the steak very liberally.
Place on gas, charcoal or electric grill and cook 10-20 minutes per side depending on the thickness of the steak and how well done you want the meat cooked. I actually cooked the steaks with a lid for part of the time.
Flip steaks over and grill on the other side. Cut into the steak with a knife and check for doneness. Cook until desired tenderness.
Montreal Seasoned Steak is delectable and mouthwatering. This quick and easy recipe is so easy even your teenagers can make it!
