2013 – Gluten Free Living

65 Fabulous Holiday Breakfasts are some of our family’s favorites. I thought it was time to truck out some of the great recipes I’ve posted up over the past year and a half in groupings  so you can see everything at once. To that end, I’ve made my first collage of 65 Fabulous Holiday Breakfast Recipes.

There are many great recipes to choose from for the holidays when you have a houseful of company or when you’re going to someone else’s home and you need to bring a few dishes with you. These delicious breakfast recipes include recipes for coffeecakes, crepes and other dishes, French toast, meat dishes, muffins, pancakes, pastries, potatoes,  and sweet breads. All of them are yummy and sure to please your family and friends.

I also have quite a few gluten free options available in the breads, meat dishes, pancakes and potato recipes. For those of you who need to bake gluten free, I suggest you switch out the flour used in my other recipes for all-purpose gluten free flour or use brown rice flour for baking. Brown rice flour, potato flour (not starch), garbanzo bean flour, and oat flours do very well in making baked goods. I highly recommend you stay away from coconut flour. It does not cook up well. I’ve tried it in several things this year and have been disappointed each time, but the other flours do well.

The hardest part about looking through a post like this is choosing only one or two of these recipes to make this year! Of course, you could always have a special brunch celebration at work or with other friends, where you could make lots of nice and tasty treats! 🙂 I warn you in advance you may start drooling when you look at the pictures. 65 Fabulous Holiday Breakfasts includes some fantastic recipes that’ll surely inspire you.
