This 5-ingredient recipe takes me about 5 minutes to whip up. I pour whipped topping into a mixing bowl, add a can of condensed milk, crushed pineapple, cherry pie filling and pecans.

It doesn’t get any easier than that. While this recipe is not particularly healthy or low calorie, it is so scrumptious you will find yourself coming back for more….and more…..and more!
About a month ago we had a houseful of company over after church one Sunday afternoon. Christy brought this delicious fruity-type salad for a side. It was a big hit with everyone. I thought it would be very similar to my Cherry Fruit Salad, but when she described it to me, the recipe ended up being quite a bit different so I asked for the recipe and recently made it for our Sunday school class’s Taco Night last Sunday night.
I thought a smooth, cool, and refreshing salad would be nice to serve along with all the Easy Homemade Salsa, Avocado Black Bean Dip, Queso, and other great Tex-Mex recipes. I made a double batch of the recipe and everyone loved it.
If you’re looking for a light and fluffy fruity-type salad for backyard barbecues, potlucks, when you’re having a houseful of company, or even just for your own family, this is a great side to prepare. It’s so quick and easy and definitely sweet and refreshing. Enjoy.

Add crushed pineapple, cherry pie filling and pecans.
Stir ingredients well to combine. Refrigerate a few hours before serving.
