Peach Sugar Cookies
Peach Sugar Cookies are absolutely incredible. These mouthwatering cookies are a terrific way to use fresh peaches. I used one of my favorite Sugar Cookie recipes and added peaches. They were heavenly. In fact, these cookies just seemed to dissolve in my mouth! While I could have added an icing, I thought they were perfect they were they were. Peaches add such a lovely, fruity, moistness to the cookies. This recipe is really simple and very quick and easy to prepare.

Many of you know I’ve made lots of luscious peach desserts over the past month in an effort to use up our abundance of home-grown peaches. Out of the 40 desserts I made, there was only one I tried that wasn’t perfect. That one didn’t turn out quite as well as I hoped because it stuck to the pan somewhat, but even that one was tasty. I loved making all the different cobblers, cakes, pies, and cookies. And this recipe is no exception. It turned out so well. The succulent taste of peaches in sugar cookies worked really well.
If you’re looking for a way to use up peaches and have a sweet tooth, then consider trying my Peach Sugar Cookies. They’re a great option for backyard barbecues, potlucks and family reunions. Additionally, they’re really easy and don’t require a lot of steps. Your family will love these tasty treats, and so will you! 🙂
Peach Sugar Cookies are so scrumptious.
Peach Sugar Cookies are great treats for tailgating parties.
These lovely cookies are nice and plump, soft and chewy.
Here’s what I did.
I used these ingredients.
Place softened butter in a mixing bowl. Add eggs, sugar, cream of tartar, baking soda and vanilla.
Mix ingredients with an electric mixer until well combined.
Add UNBLEACHED all-purpose flour. Bleached flour toughens baked goods. Add finely, diced peaches.
Stir ingredients with a wooden spoon to combine.
Spray cookie sheets with cooking spray. Using a 1/4 cup ice cream scoop, measure out dough and place scoops on cookie sheets.
Bake at 350 for 15-18 minutes or until done.
Peach Sugar Cookies are great cookies for snacks and summer and fall picnics.
Peach Sugar Cookies are so delicious. You’re family will love them.

When you add peaches, or any fruit to an existing, how does that affect the original cookie recipe, more or less of an ingrediant?

The peaches have to be patted dry or the excess moisture will change the consistency of the cookie. We actually found these cookies quite delightful.

I am definitely going to try this one out! Can you suggest a substitute for Cream of Tartar?

If you can find cream of tartar, it is the best to use because it interacts with the ingredients so differently and makes a smoother cookie. I would substitute baking powder in its place.
