Salsa Ranch Dip
Salsa Ranch Dip is simply mouthwatering. Especially if you enjoy a little dash of Tex-Mex in your appetizers. This is a quick, easy, and tasty recipe. It’s great for tailgating parties, special bowl games, or even to snack on throughout the day! This simple 5-ingredient recipe can be made in five minutes. If you serve Salsa Ranch Dip with veggies rather than chips, it can be a lower calorie snack. This amazing dip is made with Ranch dressing mix, sour cream, diced green chiles, diced tomatoes, and chunky salsa. That’s it. It doesn’t get much easier than that.

I was looking for another appetizer for a luncheon I had a few Sundays ago. I wanted to serve this with veggie dippers as well as tortilla chips. I always keep dry Ranch dressing mix on hand. I scanned the back of the box and decided to use this recipe. I looked through my pantry and sure enough I had everything I needed so I had this terrific appetizer ready in a jiffy.
If you enjoy chips and dip, this is a terrific appetizer for any party. It can be made lickety-split, plus, it has all the wonderful Tex-Mex flavor you love. Salsa Ranch Dip is a quick and easy recipe that you can whip up in five minutes for any tailgating party!
I served Salsa Ranch Dip with veggie dippers as well as with tortilla chips.
This lovely dip marries chunky salsa with Ranch dressing for fabulous taste.
Here’s what I did.
I used these 5 ingredients.
Place sour cream in a bowl. Add dry Ranch dressing mix. Stir to combine.
Add chunky salsa, diced green chiles and tomatoes.
Stir ingredients to combine. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
To serve: Pour Salsa Ranch Dip into a serving bowl. Place on a platter with chips, crackers, or veggie dippers.
Salsa Ranch Dip is thick and creamy.
This Tex-Mex appetizer is also great for afternoon snacks.
This is a fairly healthy snack, especially if you serve it with raw veggies.

Salsa Ranch Dip
Equipment
- 1 mixing bowl
- 1 wooden spoon
- measuring cups
- measuring spoons
- 1 sharp knife to cut tomatoes
Ingredients
- 1 pkt. Hidden Valley Original Ranch dips mix
- 16 oz. sour cream
- 1/2 cup medium chunky salsa or your favorite chunky salsa
- 4 oz. can green chiles diced and drained
- 2 roma tomatoes diced
Instructions
- Mix ranch dressing mix with sour cream in a mixing bowl and stir to combine.
- Stir in salsa, chiles and tomatoes.
- Serve as a dip with veggies or chips.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve.
- Makes about 3 cups dip.
