
Mother’s Day Brunch Ideas
Mother’s Day Brunch Ideas is an awesome list of ideas that will make you smile. Mother’s Day is a week from tomorrow, so I thought I would pull together some recipes for a fantastic Mother’s Day Brunch Menu. Mother’s Day Brunch Ideas consists of everything from Biscuits to Sweet Breads to Breakfast Burritos and Casseroles.

This list includes muffins, French toast, Crepes, and some savory dishes thrown in as well. It does not include any kind of fried potatoes, hash, frittatas, or cornbread even though those recipes can be used for brunch.
In my compilation of Mother’s Day Brunch Ideas I’ve included a lot of gluten free pancake recipes. While these recipes are made with gluten free flour, if you like the idea of the ingredients list, but you’re not gluten intolerant, then feel free to use regular flour. The recipes will work fine that way, too.
If you do want to change out regular all-purpose (wheat) flour for gluten free flour in any of these recipes, I highly recommend using Cup4Cup, or Better Batter (which is my niece’s favorite). Do Not try coconut flour, potato flour or even almond meal/flour if you want the recipes to taste anything like what you’re used to.
They don’t work nearly as well and cause odd textures. Because most gluten free flours are a little lighter than regular flour, you may need to increase the recipes by 1/3 to 1/2 cup more flour. The only exception would be if gluten free flour is a substitute for cake flour.
You may be wondering why I included pumpkin and cranberry recipes for the sweet breads. Pumpkin is available year round these days and some of you (like me) may freeze cranberries and have some on hand. If not, save those recipes for the fall and you can enjoy them then.
You will find recipes than men enjoy more than women in this collection, but I figured many of you might have husbands, brothers, grandpas, sons and uncles sitting around your table for Mother’s Day brunch and they wouldn’t mind some protein! Thus, there are several breakfast casseroles with meat.
