Easy Baked Rice
I love this Easy Baked Rice dish. From the first time I sampled this recipe, I knew it was a winner. This six-ingredient side dish is perfect to make for an Asian entree but when you don’t have time to be watching multiple things on the stove. I served it with Orange Sesame Beef and both were spectacular. Seriously, this is a dump-and-go recipe that’s simple, convenient and also delicious.

A couple of months ago, one of the gals in our Friday night care group brought this rice dish for dinner. Everyone loved it. In fact, just about all of us went back for two servings, so her casserole was cleaned out pronto! One of the nice touches to this dish is it has a little bit of parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. It’s applied the last few minutes of baking time and it adds a delectable twist on an already fantastic rice dish.
Every recipe Hannah has ever made has turned to gold in my opinion. She’s a wonderful cook and I’ve already posted her Earthquake Cake and Broccoli-Cauliflower Salad recipes on my blog. Well, I asked her for this recipe and decided to make it for dinner for my son and his girlfriend. I served it with Orange Sesame Beef, a Winter Fruit Salad and a Gluten Free Blueberry Cobbler. All turned out mouthwatering.
If you want this recipe to be gluten free, you will have to find a gluten free French Onion soup. Those can be purchased online, but I didn’t have time to do that before I wanted to make it. We used regular Campbell’s French Onion Soup instead.
It is hard to believe how E-A-S-Y this rice casserole is. If you’re looking for one of the easiest ways to make rice ever, then give this Easy Baked Rice a try. It’s perfect for any Asian entree, but we served it with some other main dish, as I recall. It’s great with any entree and certainly a side dish that will have you coming back for more.
Easy Baked Rice is a terrific side dish for company dinners.
This easy six-ingredient recipe is a dump and bake recipe. It takes only five minutes to prepare.
I served it with Orange Sesame Beef. The flavors were spectacular together.
Every bite was succulent and amazing.
Here’s what I did.
I used these ingredients. You can use just about any kind of rice.
Place rice in a mixing bowl.
Add mushrooms, French Onion Soup and melted butter.
Add beef broth.
Stir ingredients to combine.
Pour into a greased 9×13″ casserole dish.
Bake at 350 for about one hour. The casserole should be set. My oven took about 1 hour 10 minutes to get it to that point.
Sprinkle parmesan cheese over top and bake an additional 5 minutes.
Remove from oven and serve immediately.
Since I garnished the Orange Sesame Beef with green onions, I sprinkled a few on top of the rice too.
This tasty dish goes fast!
Easy Baked Rice is a great dish to make when you don’t want to be cooking multiple things on top of the stove at once. We loved it with Orange Sesame Beef.
