Oreo Chocolate Chip Cookies
Oreo Chocolate Chip Cookies are incredibly delectable. I saw these fabulous looking cookies a week or two ago and knew immediately I needed to make them! Chocolate Chip Cookies with chunks of Oreo cookies in them? Do I hear an Amen! These cookies are fantastic and not much more work than making regular Chocolate Chip Cookies. I followed the recipe pretty closely.

The only thing I did differently was to cut the Oreos up in eighths instead of smashing them any which way. This ended up being easier for me. The cookies hold their shape pretty well and taste insanely good. If you love Chocolate Chip Cookies, and if you love Oreos, you will LOVE the combination of the two of them.
I ended up making these cookies when I took a meal to friends and they raved over them. Really, if you’re a chocolate lover, there’s everything to like about these cookies. Plus, you get a mouthful of delicious, decadent chocolate in every bite. I am so ready. 🙂
This is a great recipe to make if you’ve got some leftover Oreos from another dessert. I put mine to good use that way. Oreo Chocolate Chip Cookies are a winner! Your family will thank you, thank you, thank you, for making these outrageous treats.
Oreo Chocolate Chip Cookies are to die for!
There’s lots of delicious Oreo chunks and Oreo sandwich cream in every cookie!
Oreo Chocolate Chip Cookies are also loaded with chocolate chips. What more could you ask for in a cookie?
These cookies are great for after school snacks, or to take along with you to a soccer game or gymnastics practice!
Here’s what I did.
I used regular Oreo Cookies for this recipe.
Soften butter to room temperature. Add sugar, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla, salt and baking soda.
Beat with an electric mixer to combine.
Smash or cut up the Oreos. I found that cutting the cookies in eighths worked well.
Add UNBLEACHED all-purpose flour. Bleached flour toughens baked goods. Add chopped or smashed Oreos and chocolate chips. Stir with a wooden spoon to combine. Shape into balls and place on cookie sheets that have been sprayed with cooking spray.
Bake for 12-14 minutes at 350. The original recipe says 8-9 minutes. My cookies were actually still rising at 14 minutes! And, yes, it’s calibrated to 350. This batch makes about 4 dozen cookies.
If you take a tray of Oreo Chocolate Chip Cookies out to your office they will be gobbled up in no time!
I’m salivating right now as I look at all these pictures!
These cookies hold their shape really well during baking and don’t flatten out too much.
Oreo Chocolate Chip Cookies are yum, yum good!
