Caramel Apple Dump Cake Cobbler
Caramel Apple Dump Cake Cobbler is one of those most awesome desserts you’ll ever eat. Truly, this dessert will have you salivating like Pavlov’s dogs after the first bite. This amazing dump cake uses Caramel Apple Pie Filling, coconut, pecans, a box cake mix (dry) and a couple of sticks of melted butter. Yes, that’s right. It has only 5 ingredients. It also can be oven-ready in 5 minutes! Yay.

When Wal-Mart started carrying Caramel Apple Pie Filling I knew I had to snatch up several cans just for this recipe. I am so glad I did, because this dessert was breathtaking….Especially after topping it with a scoop of Blue Bell and caramel sauce. 😮 It is everything you want in a dessert and more! If you enjoy the flavor of caramel apples, you’re going to love this recipe.
A couple of weeks ago we had a flurry of gals in our church give birth. I had four different meals I prepared in the span of about 10 days. One of the families I was preparing a meal for could eat butter and eggs, but no milk or cheese. So I had to design a meal around that. This dessert has butter, but no milk and cheese. So I thought it would be perfect for them. I also served them a batch of my delicious Amish Chicken and Noodles, Fried Green Beans, Baked Pineapple and Dairy Free White Bread.
While I made the original recipe for them in a foil pan since that’s so much easier for transporting meals, I made a small one for us! That way I could take a few pictures, too. 🙂
I have several versions of dump cake you may enjoy trying. I have two that are gluten free: a strawberry and an Apple, Peach & Pear. I also have a Peach, Cherry, Apple-Cranberry, Pumpkin and Raspberry. Finally, I have a Texas Cobbler which includes blueberry & cherry pie filling plus pineapple. All are superb. None take more than 5 minutes to prepare. Each one is terrific for holidays like Mother’s Day or Father’s Day or summer potlucks.
Listen, if you like caramel apples, you’ve got to try this dump cake recipe. It is so heavenly. But be warned. Caramel Apple Dump Cake Cobbler is addictive! You won’t want to stop after the first bite. 🙂
Caramel Apple Dump Cake Cobbler is addictive!
Every bite will have you drooling.
If you enjoy the taste of caramel apples, you’ll love this dessert.
Caramel Apple Dump Cake Cobbler is especially good with a scoop of Blue Bell ice cream and caramel sauce drizzled over top. 🙂
Here’s what I did.
I used these ingredients.
Pour Caramel Apple Pie Filling into the bottom of a greased 9×13″ baking pan or dish.
Sprinkle caramel apples with coconut.
Sprinkle pecans over top of coconut layer.
Spread dry cake mix over top.
Pour butter evenly over top of dry cake mix.
Now the dump cake is ready for the oven.
Bake at 350 for about 45-60 minutes or until the juice from the fruit bubbles up around the outside of the dish.
Serve with caramel sauce if desired.
Or add ice cream. 🙂
Now add a little more caramel sauce and Caramel Apple Dump Cake Cobbler is just about perfect.
This dessert explodes in caramel flavor. It’s just amazing.
