Caesar Pasta Salad
Caesar Pasta Salad is utterly delightful. This is a wonderful take on the traditional Caesar Salad recipe. This one has a simple homemade dressing and includes bow-tie pasta. You can garnish the salad with croutons, or leave them off if you prefer.

This salad is quick, easy and a terrific side dish for potlucks or backyard barbecues. In Texas, our summers are longer than a lot of the rest of the country, so we enjoy eating this salad from April to October. However, all the ingredients are easily accessible all year round.
I found this recipe in a magazine years ago and decided to try it. I loved it and made it several times. Then I forgot about it until I started looking through my big 3-ring binders of recipes. I thought I’d whip it out and try it again.
Every Sunday night we work with our college age and young adult group from our church. The directors host an evening meal, Bible study and prayer time in their home. We try to help out with the cooking whenever we can.
A couple of weeks ago I made this salad recipe. We had pizzas that night so I made this salad and a Pepperoni Caesar Salad as well. The “kids” loved these salads. I ate my share of them too.

Here’s what I did.
I used these ingredients.
Combine Miracle Whip, Parmesan Cheese and garlic powder in a mixing bowl.
Stir well to combine.
Cook bow tie pasta according to package directions.
Drain pasta and run cold water over pasta to stop the pasta from cooking any further.
Add pasta to salad dressing ingredients.
Stir to combine well. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Add Romaine lettuce to pasta mixture.
Stir well to combine. Garnish with additional Parmesan cheese and croutons, if desired.

I would like to know if a person could substitute Mayonnaise for the Miracle Whip? Thank you

Hi, Frances. You certainly could substitute mayo. But since mayo does not have all the seasonings that Miracle Whip has, you may want to amp up the flavor a bit with other seasonings.
