The wonderful thing about this pie is has triple chocolate flavor. The pie uses a store-bought chocolate crumb crust. It also includes dry instant chocolate pudding and Kit Kat bars. Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate! Yay. 🙂 If you’re a chocolate lover or a Kit Kat candy bar lover, you will rave over this simple and easy dessert.
My husband had a massive stroke the first week of June. I’ve had several guys from our neighborhood mowing our lawn for us. I made a bunch of these chocolate pies in assorted flavors and tried to give one out to whomever ran errands or provided a service to our family during John’s recovery. Without exception, everyone has loved the pies.
Yes, these chocolate pies are rich and decadent, but they’re also so easy you can whip them up for family, company or holiday dinners. It’s also a great way to use up leftover candy. Plus, they’re just so delicious you’ll be drooling over every morsel. Enjoy.
Kit Kat Chocolate Pie is outstanding!
This quick and easy recipe uses only 5 ingredients.
Every bite will have you drooling!
Kit Kat Chocolate Pie will satisfy any sweet tooth craving.
Here’s what I did.
I used these ingredients.
Place dry instant chocolate pudding mix in a bowl. Add half-and-half.
Whisk for two minutes, until mixture is thick.
Add Cool Whip or other non-dairy whipped topping.
Stir with a wooden spoon until well combined.
Add chopped Kit Kat bars.
Stir with a wooden spoon to combine.
Spoon mixture into a chocolate crumb crust.
Line the outside of the pie shell with Kit Kat pieces. Sprinkle additional chopped Kit Kat bars over top of the pie. Freeze pie for six hours before serving.

KIT KAT CHOCOLATE PIE
(My own concoction)
Kit Kat Chocolate Pie
Equipment
- 1 large mixing bowl
- 1 whisk
- 1 wooden spoon
- measuring cups
- 1 sharp knife to chop Kit Kat bars
Ingredients
- 9 oz. pkg. Kit Kat milk chocolate bars divided use (6 1.5-oz. bars)
- 1 1/2 cups half-and-half
- 5.85 oz. pkg. instant chocolate pudding mix (dry)
- 8 oz. container cool whip or other non-dairy frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 9 inch chocolate crumb crust
Instructions
- Chop up three of the Kit Kat bars; set aside.
- Combine pudding with half and half and whisk vigorously for two minutes.
- Fold in Cool Whip topping.
- Stir in the coarsely chopped Kit Kat bars.
- Pour chocolate mixture into chocolate crust.
- Slice a 1.5-oz. pkg. Kit Kat bars in half.
- Line the outside edge of the pie evenly with the sliced Kit Kat bars.
- Chop one remaining 1.5-oz. Kit Kat bar and sprinkle the pieces over top of the pie.
- Freeze for several hours or overnight before serving.
- Remove from freezer 10-15 minutes before serving.
