Those of you who follow my blog know that my husband suffered a massive stroke in June. Most of the time, I couldn’t always stay with him because of Covid regulations. So, while he was in the hospital or rehab, I made up a bunch of pies. I gave them away to all the different folks who mowed our lawn or took care of other things around our house that needed done.
This pie went to our neighbors across the street. Sam mowed our lawn on multiple occasions. He was also the recipient of my Reese’s Peanut Butter Chocolate Pie from May when his wife was out of town. So he already had an idea how good this pie is. (I’ve since given them an M&M version that was also fantastic). They drooled and drooled over this pie.
Snickers Chocolate Pie is really a splendid dessert for company or holiday dinners. It’s really such a simple dessert, but elegant and impressive all the same. Plus, you can make it in about 15 minutes. Then just pop it in the freezer for about six hours before serving. Those of you who are chocolate or Snickers lovers, will make many a midnight refrigerator raid for an extra slice of this rich and decadent dessert. 🙂

These were freshly prepared and placed in the refrigerator. I used a pre-made chocolate crust, 1 cup of creamy peanut butter, and quadrupled the recipe. OMG. It is lovely. When I return, I’ll let you know how long it lasted.

I’m sure adding peanut butter to the pie made it awesome indeed. 🙂

I’ve never prepared a pie so easily! It was the first dessert to go when I brought it to Thanksgiving dinner. Possibly experimenting with Reese’s, Twix, and possibly drizzling some Magic Shell on top, I intend to make this an annual tradition. Many thanks for sharing your fantastic recipe!
