Lemon Oreo Pie
Lemon Oreo Pie is fantastic. For those of you who enjoy Lemon Oreos, this is a great way to feature them. This quick and easy 5-ingredient recipe is terrific for a company or holiday dessert. I used a graham cracker crust along with vanilla pudding, whipped topping and lots of Lemony Oreos.

My husband had a life-threatening stroke back in early June. They gave him up for dead. They went ahead and transferred him up to Big Baylor hospital in downtown Dallas since it has the premiere brain trauma unit in the country. While John was recovering I had several guys from our neighborhood and church mowing our lawn each weekend. I thanked each of them with a simple, yet delicious, pie.
Lemon Oreo Pie was one of those pies I gave away for that purpose. If you enjoy lemon desserts (or are tired from everything chocolate), this dessert is for you! I also made one with regular Oreos that I gave to my neighbor for replacing a car battery for me during that time. They loved it. This is also a wonderful dessert to make if you have those in your family with nut allergies. You can enjoy a delicious dessert but not made with candy bars that have peanuts, almonds or other nuts.
We loved the way Lemon Oreo Pie turned out. I have enough leftover Lemon Oreos to make a few more pies! Yum. 🙂

I like the recipe being so simple. With “light” cool whip, I did make this, and it worked out just well. Then I increased its guilt by covering the crust layer with a thin layer of edible cookie dough. The best! Additionally, little Oreos are available and enjoyable to sprinkle on top.

Oh, I love the idea of spreading edible cookie dough on the crust layer. Sounds wonderful!!!

I double the cream cheese and add some fresh lemon juice to it. I also add some lemon zest to the top Cool Whip Portion. I have made this for several social gatherings this summer and it has been such a big hit.

Finally you got the recipe that I want and like! A real lemon Oreo cookie and cream pie.its just what I want, cookies and cream like cool whip, a light pie, No cream cheese in it! Thank God, because when you have cheese in it you might as well call it a cheese cake which I don’t want thanks that someone is listening out there.
