M&M Chocolate Pie
M&M Chocolate Pie is so awesome. M&M’s plus chocolate = amazing. Truly. This luscious Chocolate Pie is so easy since it uses only 5 ingredients. The texture is smooth and creamy, with bits of M&M’s spread throughout the filling. Then I’ve added more M&M’s on top.

Back in June, I made up about 15 or 20 of these chocolate pies with assorted candy bars. Those included Kit Kat, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, Butterfinger, Snickers, Whopper, Oreo, Turtle, Twix Cookies ‘n Cream, York Peppermint Pattie, Heath Toffee, Milky Way, Almond Joy and so many others. I gave them away to different guys and gals who mowed our lawn each week. (My husband suffered a stroke, so many people stepped up to help us out).
This particular pie was given to our neighbor across the street who mowed our lawn about 5 weeks in a row! I asked them what they thought of it. They LOVED it! I was hoping the M&M’s wouldn’t be weird in the pie, but they said, on the contrary, they were wonderful. I personally loved the taste of this pie.
If you’re looking for a holiday dessert to wow your family or friends, this pie will do it. It’s everything you could possibly want in a dessert. Rich, decadent, heavenly. Everyone will want a slice so you’d better make more than one. 🙂

We loved the way this pie turned out.
Here’s what I did.
I used these ingredients.
Pour dry instant chocolate pudding mix into a mixing bowl. Add half-and-half.
Beat vigorously with a whisk for two minutes, until thick.
Add Cool Whip or other non-dairy whipped topping.
Stir well to combine.
Cut M&M’s in half.
Add M&M’s.
Stir to combine.
Spread chocolate mixture into a chocolate crumb crust.
Sprinkle halved M&M’s over top of pie. Line outside edge with whole M&M’s.

This sounds pretty good to me! In my circle of girlfriends, they will love this pie every bit as much as the kiddoes, maybe even more. Now tell me, is there a fairly quick & easy way to cut one cup of M & Ms in half, other than one by one – using a knife? Am I missing something? It looks as though I’m the only one who’s wondering.

Hi, Angelina. I know it did take me a while cutting up the M&Ms. I don’t have any particular way to make this go quicker except using whole M&Ms throughout. Probably wouldn’t be bad that way either.
