John combed the grocery aisles for me after Halloween and brought home tons of candy. I think he bought 20 bags of the assorted fun packs of Snickers Bars alone! I know he was hoping to keep them in the refrigerator as his private stash throughout the year. But I outsmarted him. I used up almost all of it in cookies and pies. Then I used four or five bags in our Christmas Cookie Extravaganza baskets this past year. Yep, all gone. 🙂
Listen! We went through a 55-gallon trash can full of Halloween candy after Halloween! I chopped and chopped and chopped candy bars. Yes, I felt like candy was coming out my ears by that time. Almost all of the candy was used up by the end of November. I made Twix Candy Bar Pie, Almond Joy Pie, Butterfinger Pie, Milky Way Pie, Baby Ruth Pie, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Pie and this adorable Snickers Bar Pie. I also made a lot of cookies!
If you’re a Snickers Candy Bar lover, this has got to become your dessert of choice! It’s rich, decadent and absolutely divine. This outrageous dessert is spectacular for company or holidays like Valentine’s Day. It’s so irresistible that you need to break it out for special occasions too. Now, if you just enjoy a good dose of chocolate every now and then, Snickers Bar Pie must be on the menu! Every bite will have you drooling. Be kind. Don’t eat it all. Share with your family. 🙂
Snickers Bar Pie is sensational.
Each bite will have you drooling.
Snickers Bar Pie is ooey, gooey and delicious!
Here’s what I did.
I used these ingredients.
Roll out pie crust.
Fit crust into pie plate; flute edges. Set aside.
Beat eggs with an electric mixer until frothy. This will take between 3-5 minutes.
Add UNBLEACHED all-purpose flour. Bleached flour toughens baked goods. Add sugar and brown sugar.
Mix with an electric mixer until smooth.
Add melted butter.
Mix again until the butter is incorporated. Be careful of splatters!
Add two cups of chopped Snickers Bars.
Stir ingredients to combine.
Spread filling into prepared pie plate.
Bake 45 minutes at 325. Remove from oven.
Add remaining cup of chopped Snickers Bars.
Bake an additional 30 minutes or until set.
Cool before cutting into pieces and serving warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
If you love Snickers Bars, this dessert will rock your world!

Do you think I could do these in a muffin tin, as mini pies?

Hi Tiffany. I think you could. But baking time will be different. You’ll have to keep an eye on the pies through the glass door of the oven to make sure they don’t overcook.
