I made about 15 Chocolate pies in August and September and gave them out to all the guys and gals who were mowing our lawn each week. My husband suffered a massive stroke in June, so I had volunteers from our neighborhood offer to mow our lawn for us. (We have about a half acre so it’s a decent sized yard!) Each one got one of these delicious chocolate pies for their service to our family.
This pie is really easy to whip up. After mixing the chocolate pudding with half-and-half you add Cool Whip. Then you add chopped Almond Joy bars and spread the mixture into a chocolate crumb crust. I freeze the pie about 6 hours before serving. Very simple, very easy, very delicious.
