Peach Fluff
Gluten Free Living – 2016
Peach Fluff is one of those luscious salads that tastes more like dessert than salad! I enjoy making these fluffy kinds of salads, especially because my husband has always loved eating them. He will eat fluffy salads for dessert over cake any time. Both my Pink Fluff (made with cherry pie filling) and Blueberry Fluff are terrific recipes, so I decided to try one with peach pie filling as well. It turned exceptionally well. On top of that, it’s so simple to make. You basically just throw everything together. This one includes peach pie filling, peaches, pineapple, marshmallows, pecans, sweetened condensed milk and non-dairy whipped topping. That’s it. Yet, so, so good.

Our church gets together once a month for a fellowship meal and our Sunday school class was assigned side dishes last month. I made up an Apple Cranberry Almond Cole Slaw, a Bacon Cheddar Chili Cornbread Salad and this lovely side salad. All of the salads were amazing but this one is most like dessert rather than a salad. This was also the easiest and quickest to make. A lot of folks dug into this salad so there was very little left to take home afterwards. Thankfully, I had made a large parfait dish for pictures so John got his share that way. 🙂
While this salad is gluten free (assuming your marshmallows are gluten free), it is made with sweetened condensed milk and non-dairy whipped topping which add a good bit of sugar. Again, if your goal is an incredibly delicious salad than Peach Fluff is for you. If you’re looking for something that’s healthier, check out my salad archives because I have tons of healthy salad recipes.
If you enjoy eating fluffy dessert-like salads then you absolutely need to give Peach Fluff a try. If you like peaches this recipe will be an utter delight. The miniature marshmallows add nice texture and the pineapple infuses even more sweetness. You can decorate the top any way you like including more maraschino cherries if that’s your thing. If you choose not to decorate the top, the salad is delectable and tasty enough to eat plain. Don’t plan on any leftovers though. Everyone will want second and third helpings of this salad or dessert.
Peach Fluff is a delicious salad that’s light and fluffy. It’s great for summer holiday potlucks.
If you enjoy peaches, you’ll find Peach Fluff delightful.
This salad is quick and easy and a great salad to make in advance if you need to prepare one a day beforehand.
Here’s what I did.
I used these ingredients.
Place peach pie filling into a large mixing bowl. Add diced peaches, drained crushed pineapple, pecans, rainbow miniature marshmallows and sweetened condensed milk.
Add non-dairy whipped topping and stir to combine.
Garnish Peach Fluff with additional sliced peaches, miniature marshmallows and maraschino cherries as desired.
Take Peach Fluff to your next backyard barbecue and everyone will be wanting a bowl, a large bowl.
Peach Fluff can be served in parfait dishes if you prefer. This is a wonderful side salad for holiday menus like Thanksgiving or Easter, too.
You’ll be drooling over this scrumptious salad.
Here’s the recipe.
