Hershey’s Nugget Blondies
Hershey’s Nugget Blondies are irresistible. We always have a lot of Hershey’s Nugget candies leftover from Halloween or Christmas so it’s the perfect time to make these jewels. I started with one of my favorite, yet simple, shortbread recipes. Then I added coarsely chopped Hershey’s Nuggets…in the batter and on top. Yep, these were terrific. Especially if you enjoy a little chocolate in your dessert. 🙂

I made these cookies for our Christmas Cookie Extravaganza this year. Anything made with Hershey’s Nuggets is always a hit. Besides, we have a lot of friends who are chocolate lovers so they love having a side of candy along with their cookies. 🙂
These cookies are not too difficult to make, although chopping up the candies for the recipe will probably take you about 15-20 minutes, depending on how fast you are. I think I cut each candy in sixths and that worked out pretty well.
If you’re looking for a luscious cookie to make for tailgating parties, backyard barbecues, or even holiday fun, then Hershey’s Nugget Blondies are sure to please. They will be great to add to your Super Bowl party menu, too. (wink, wink).
Hershey’s Nugget Blondies are terrific.
These are a great way to use up leftover Halloween or Christmas candy. Almost everyone loves a dose of chocolate candy in their cookies!
It’s hard to stop at just one or two!
Here’s what I did.
I used these ingredients.
Place softened butter, oil, eggs, sugar, powdered sugar, vanilla, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt in a large mixing bowl.
Cream with an electric mixer until smooth.
Add UNBLEACHED all-purpose flour. Bleached flour toughens baked goods. Add 2 cups coarsely chopped Hershey’s Nugget candies.
Stir with a wooden spoon to combine. Press mixture into a greased 12×17″ cookie sheet. Sprinkle two additional cups chopped Hershey’s Nugget candies over top.
Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Hershey’s Nugget Blondies are great cookies to bake for Christmas cookie exchanges.
These are also great for tailgating or Super Bowl parties!
Every bite is filled with the creamy chocolate and almond flavors of Hershey’s Nugget candies.
Here’s the recipe.
