Pull-Apart Herb Biscuits

Pull-Apart Herb Biscuits are totally delectable. These miniature biscuits are like eating a savory version of Monkey Bread. They're so quick and easy to whip up, you'll find yourself making these for your family often. Excellent for company or holiday dinners too.

Equipment

  • 1 9 or 10-inch round baking dish
  • measuring spoons
  • measuring cups
  • 1 sharp knife or scissors to cut biscuits
  • 1 large mixing bowl
  • 1 wooden spoon

Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz. can refrigerated buttermilk biscuits (see note below)
  • 6 tbsp. unsalted butter melted (divided use)
  • 1/3 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 tbsp. sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp. garlic minced, (I used dried minced garlic)
  • 1 tsp. dried parsley flakes
  • 1 tsp. dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. dried thyme

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 450°.
  • Separate biscuits and cut into quarters.
  • Set aside.
  • Combine parmesan cheese, sesame seeds, garlic, parsley, basil, oregano and thyme in a mixing bowl.
  • Add half of the butter and stir to combine.
  • Add biscuit pieces and toss to coat.
  • Pour mixture into a round 9” glass baking dish.
  • Bake at 450° for 8-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Brush with remaining melted butter.
  • Remove to a serving platter and serve warm.

Notes

NOTE: It’s hard to find that size refrigerated biscuits any more. I used 15-oz. of refrigerated biscuits.
