Chocolate Chip Toffee Brownies are the ultimate in rich, decadent brownies. These scrumptious treats are filled with chocolate chips and Heath English Toffee Bits so they explode with unbelievable flavor. If you enjoy the flavors of chocolate and toffee, these outrageous brownies will rock your world! Terrific for tailgating or office parties, potlucks and backyard barbecues. Beware! These luscious brownies are addictive--you won't want to stop at just one.

  • 1 11x17" jelly roll pan
  • 1 large mixing bowl
  • 1 electric mixer
  • 1 wooden spoon
  • 1 spatula
  • measuring cups
  • measuring spoons

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cups unsalted butter softened
  • 1 1/2 cups light brown sugar firmly packed
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 tsp. real vanilla extract
  • 4 1/2 cups UNBLEACHED all-purpose flour (bleached flour toughens baked goods)
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. sea salt
  • 8 oz. pkg. Heath English toffee bits
  • 12 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Grease or spray 11x17” jelly roll pan with cooking spray.
  • In large bowl, combine butter, sugars, vanilla, eggs, salt and baking soda.
  • Beat at medium speed with an electric mixer until fluffy.
  • Stir in flour, toffee bits and chocolate chips with wooden spoon until combined.
  • Stir thoroughly; this may take 4-5 minutes.
  • Pat dough down into prepared cookie sheet.
  • Bake for approximately 20-30 minutes at 350°, or until lightly browned and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
