Easy Waldorf Salad

Easy Waldorf Salad is so scrumptious. This delicious creamy and fruity salad uses apples, grapes, raisins, walnuts and celery. It's the perfect side salad for holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas or Easter. This salad can be whipped up in under ten minutes, so it's quick and easy to prepare. If you enjoy creamy fruit salads, this one should be on your dinner menu! Gluten free.

Equipment

  • 1 large serving bowl trifle dish or individual parfait dishes
  • 1 sharp knife to cut vegetables and pare fruit
  • 1 wooden spoon
  • measuring cups
  • measuring spoons

Ingredients
  

  • 1 large Gala Apple cored and diced (not peeled)
  • 1 cup celery diced
  • 1 cup red seedless grapes halved
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup walnuts chopped, or pecans
  • 2 cups non dairy whipped topping
  • 1 tsp. granulated sugar
  • 1 dash salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Combine ingredients in a salad bowl.
  • Toss to coat well.
  • Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

NOTE: The original recipe called for ¾ cup mayonnaise instead of whipped topping.
