  • 1 wooden spoon
  • 1 sharp knife to chop cookies
  • measuring cups
  • measuring spoons
  • 1 1/4 cup cookie scoop
  • 1 spatula

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup canola oil or use coconut oil or avocado oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp. sea salt
  • 1 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 4 1/2 cups UNBLEACHED all-purpose flour (bleached flour toughens baked goods)
  • 3.5 oz. container Oreo mini cookies cut in fourths
  • 3.5 oz. container golden Oreo mini cookies cut in fourths
  • 7 oz. container Nutter Butter Bites cut in fourths (two 3.5-ounce containers)
  • 6 Double-Stuff Oreos cut in eighths

Instructions

  • Mix butter, oil, eggs, vanilla, sugars, salt, cream of tartar, and baking soda with an electric mixer in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  • Stir in flour, chopped Oreos and Nutter Butter Bites with a wooden spoon.
  • Stir thoroughly; this may take 4-5 minutes.
  • Scoop dough with a one-quarter cup scoop and place on cookie sheets sprayed with cooking spray.
  • Bake at 350° for about 15-17 minutes or until done.
  • Rotate cookie sheets on oven racks every 7 minutes of baking time.
  • Cool completely.

Notes

NOTE: You need approximately 5 cups of chopped cookies. I added the 6 double-stuff Oreos to make up the difference.

NOTE: Make sure you space the cookies several inches apart. They will spread out while baking.
