These luscious brownies are so mouthwatering and absolutely divine! They're filled with Ghirardelli caramel chips and chocolate chips for maximum flavor. Caramel Chocolate Chip Blondies are perfect for tailgating or office parties, potlucks or backyard barbecues. If you enjoy caramel and chocolate flavors, these cookies will have you drooling after the first bite!
12oz. pkg.Ghirardelli caramel chips(if desired, set aside 1/4 cup for top)
12oz. pkg.chocolate chips(if desired, set aside 1/4 cup for top)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°.
Grease or spray a large 11x17” jelly roll pan with cooking spray.
In large bowl, combine butter, sugars, vanilla, eggs, salt and baking soda.
Beat at medium speed with an electric mixer until fluffy.
Stir in flour, caramel chips and chocolate chips with wooden spoon until combined.
Spread and press down cookie dough into prepared cookie sheet. (See note below).
Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes, or until lightly browned and a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Notes
NOTE: My oven took almost 50 minutes to bake these blondies sufficiently. Your oven may cook them faster.NOTE: If desired, set aside one-quarter cup each of chocolate chips and caramel chips. Sprinkle the chips over top of the cookie dough before baking.
