These luscious brownies have chocolate chips in the batter and vanilla chips swirled into the batter. The vanilla chips caramelize while baking providing an explosion of flavor that's incredibly rich and decadent. These brownies are terrific for tailgating parties, potlucks or backyard barbecues.
12oz. pkg.premiere white baking chips(vanilla chips)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350.
Melt butter. Add cocoa, eggs, vanilla and sugar and mix with an electric mixer or whisk.
Stir in flour, nuts and chocolate chips.
Grease a 9x13" baking dish.
Spread batter into prepared baking dish.
Sprinkle vanilla chips on top.
Bake at 350° for 5 minutes.
Remove dish from oven.
With a knife, swirl softened vanilla chips into chocolate brownie batter.
Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes longer or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Allow brownies to cool about 15 minutes.
Notes
NOTE: You can tent the brownies with foil after swirling the vanilla chips in so the vanilla chips don't darken so much while baking. But tent very loosely and the brownies may take a little longer to bake completely in the middle.
