Snickers Blondies with Vanilla Buttercream Frosting will surely satisfy any sweet tooth craving. These amazing blondies are filled with chopped Snickers Bars then iced with a vanilla buttercream frosting that has more Snickers Bars sprinkled on top. Perfect dessert for any occasion, but also a great way to use up Halloween or Christmas candies. If you're a chocolate or Snickers lover, beware! Equipment

  • 1 9x13" glass baking dish
  • 2 large mixing bowls
  • 1 electric mixer
  • 2 wooden spoons
  • measuring cups

  • 1 sharp knife to chop Snickers bars
  • 1 spatula

Ingredients
  

SNICKERS BLONDIES:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup light brown sugar packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 1/2 cups UNBLEACHED all-purpose flour (bleached flour toughens baked goods)
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. sea salt
  • 2 cups Snickers Bars coarsely chopped, (or Snickers Baking Bites)

VANILLA BUTTERCREAM FROSTING:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter room temperature (2 sticks)
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp. 2% milk
  • 1/2 cup Snickers Bars coarsely chopped

Instructions
 

SNICKERS BLONDIES:

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Cream butter, sugars, vanilla, eggs, salt and baking soda in mixing bowl with an electric mixer until smooth.
  • Stir in flour and chopped Snicker’s Bars until combined.
  • Spread mixture into a 9×13 baking dish that has been greased or sprayed with cooking spray.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  • Remove from oven and cool completely.
  • Frost with Vanilla Buttercream Frosting and sprinkle with more chopped Snickers Bars.

VANILLA BUTTERCREAM FROSTING:

  • Cream the butter with an electric mixer until smooth.
  • Add powdered sugar, vanilla and milk and mix until smooth.
  • Spread Buttercream Frosting over top of cooled blondies.
  • Sprinkle chopped Snickers Bars on top of icing.
