Hershey's Nugget Cookies will cure every sweet tooth craving. These amazing cookies combine chopped Hershey's Nuggets candies with a Mrs. Field's Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough copycat recipe. The combination is heavenly!
2 1/2tsp. real vanilla extract(no imitation vanilla flavoring)
1tsp.baking soda
1tsp.baking powder
3/4tsp.sea salt
3 1/2cups UNBLEACHED all-purpose floursee my note below on amount (bleached flour toughens baked goods)
3cupsHershey's Nuggets candieschopped
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°.
In a large mixing bowl, mix the butter, sugars, eggs, vanilla, salt, baking powder and baking soda with an electric mixer until smooth.
Stir in flour and chopped Hershey’s Nuggets with a wooden spoon to combine well.
Shape dough with hands into golf ball-sized dough balls and place a couple inches apart on greased cookie sheets.
Bake for 13-15 minutes or until edges are light brown.
Rotate cookies on racks every six minutes while baking.
Cool completely.
Notes
NOTE: In my first batch I used about 2 ½ to 3 cups of flour. In subsequent batches I found 3 ½ cups flour worked better. However, 2 1/2 to 3 cups of flour will be fine if you freeze the cookie dough balls on cookie sheets about 10 minutes before baking. That way the cookies won't spread as much.
