Equipment

  • 1 blender
  • measuring cups
  • measuring spoons
  • 1 sharp knife to cut vegetables

Ingredients
  

  • 28 oz. can whole tomatoes undrained
  • 2 10-oz. cans diced tomatoes and green chilies undrained
  • 1/4 cup onion chopped
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 whole jalapeno pepper seeded
  • 1/4 tsp. granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro leaves packed
  • 1 lime juice only

Instructions
 

  • Place all the ingredients in a large blender and pulse about 10-15 times, or until you achieve the desired consistency.
  • Serve with tortilla chips.
