2 1/2 cups UNBLEACHED all-purpose flour bleached flour toughens baked goods 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1 3/4 cups brown sugar packed 1 cup unsalted butter softened (2 sticks) 2 large eggs 1 tbsp. vanilla extract 11 oz. pkg. butterscotch morsels divided use 1 cup pecans chopped or broken
Mix butter, brown sugar, baking powder, salt, eggs and vanilla with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
Add flour, 1 cup butterscotch chips and pecans.
Stir with a wooden spoon to combine.
Spray a 9x13” glass baking dish with cooking spray.
Spread mixture into prepared baking dish.
Sprinkle remaining butterscotch morsels on top.
Bake at 350° for 30-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool before cutting into bars.
