Texas Chocolate Chip Pecan Cookies are sensational. These lovely, chocolaty cookies are filled with chocolate chips and pecans. Every bite will have you drooling. 1 cup unsalted butter softened 3/4 cup granulated sugar 3/4 cup light brown sugar packed 2 large eggs 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1/3 cup baker’s scoop cocoa a little more than 1/3 cup 1/2 tsp. sea salt 1 tsp. baking soda 2 1/2 cups UNBLEACHED all-purpose flour 1 cup pecans chopped (measure after chopping) 12 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Mix butter, sugars, eggs, vanilla, cocoa, salt and baking soda with an electric mixer until well mixed.
Stir in flour, pecans and chocolate chips with a wooden spoon.
Spray cookie sheets with cooking spray.
Roll cookie dough into balls and place on prepared cookie sheets.
Bake at 375° about 10-12 minutes or until cookies are done.
Rotate racks about every 6 minutes while baking.
Cool completely.
