This delicious chili recipe is made with sausage, both light red and dark red kidney beans, corn, diced tomatoes and green chilies. It's bursting with flavor and great for cool winter nights. If you're in the mood for a bowl of chili, this slow cooker version is outstanding.
1 hamburger chopper to chop sausage down into small pieces while frying
1 sharp knife to cut vegetables

1 soup ladle
Ingredients
2lbs.Italian sausagecooked (but you can also use bulk pork sausage)
1mediumonionchopped
15.5oz. candark red kidney beansdrained
15.5oz. canlight red kidney beansdrained
15.5oz. canwhole kernel corndrained
210-oz. cansdiced tomatoes with green chiliesUNDRAINED
2-3clovesgarlicminced
1/2tsp.sea saltor kosher salt
1/8tsp.crushed red pepper flakes
1.25oz. pkg.chili seasoning mixor substitute homemade chili seasoning mix if you want to make this recipe gluten free
2cupsbeef brothor water
Instructions
Brown sausage in skillet over medium heat. Drain.
Use a hamburger chopper to cut meat down in small pieces while frying.
Spray crockpot with cooking spray.
Place everything in a crockpot and stir to combine.
Cook over low heat approximately 6 hours or until done (or on high heat for a couple of hours).
Garnish with cheese, parsley, sour cream, chives or fresh jalapeno slices, as desired.
Serve over rice, or with tortilla chips, if desired.
