Tossed Salad with Tropical Fruit is an exotic, festive and beautiful salad that's terrific for special occasions or company dinners. This luscious salad is filled with all kinds of tropical fruit including mangos, kiwi, pineapple, pomegranate arils and cherries. It's a delightful and drool-worthy salad that is healthy, low calorie, gluten free and vegan.

Equipment

  • 1 large salad bowl
  • 1 sharp knife to cut vegetables and fruit
  • measuring cups

Ingredients
  

  • 3 bags butter bliss lettuce
  • 1 pint Zeema sweet orange tomatoes sliced in half
  • 1 yellow bell pepper cut in thin strips
  • 3 champagne or ataulfo mangos sliced in thin strips
  • 1 cup red grapes halved
  • 3 kiwis peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 fresh pineapple cored and cut in wedges
  • 4.4 oz. container pomegranate arils
  • 1/2 cup fresh cherries for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Layer salad ingredients in order listed.
  • Serve with your favorite poppy seed salad dressing or other dressing.
  • Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

NOTE: Can add mandarin orange segments and almond slices if desired.
