6 large sweet potatoes peeled and chunked 4 ribs celery chopped 2 red pears diced 1 small onion diced 32 oz. carton vegetable broth 2 tsp. sea salt or Kosher salt 1 tsp. ground black pepper 2 heaping teaspoons roasted minced garlic 1 tsp. dried thyme 1 tsp. dried rosemary 1 tsp. dried marjoram 1 tsp. dried sage
Place everything in a large pot and cook over medium-medium high heat until mixture starts to boil.
Reduce heat to low and simmer until veggies are tender, about 45 minutes to an hour or so.
Mash with a potato masher, then use an immersion blender to puree all the ingredients.
NOTE: If using a regular blender, be careful transferring hot mixture to blender so you don't burn yourself.
