New York Strip Steak with Garlic Parsley Butter

Succulent and delicious steak with a garlic-parsley butter sauce poured over top for serving. This is an easy & tasty recipe for grilling out with friends. It's also terrific for holiday menus like Mother's Day or Father's Day.

Equipment

  • 1 sauce pan
  • 1 sharp knife to mince garlic
  • 1 gas or electric grill
  • 1 pastry brush
  • 1 wooden spoon

Ingredients
  

  • 4 large New York Strip Steaks
  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves cloves sliced or minced
  • 2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt & pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp. fresh parsley

Instructions
 

  • Melt butter in small saucepan over medium heat with garlic cloves and garlic powder.
  • Cook until garlic is softened—a few minutes or so.
  • Add parsley. Set aside.
  • Salt and pepper steaks, to taste.
  • Spray grill with olive oil cooking spray.
  • Place steaks on grill and grill over high heat and cook about 4-5 minutes per side or according to desired doneness.
  • Remove from heat and brush generously with garlic-parsley-butter mixture.

Notes

NOTE: I used an indoor grill which took about 10-12 minutes per side.
