Grilled Swiss Cheese and Tomato Sandwiches are utterly irresistible. This has been our favorite way to make Grilled Cheese Sandwiches for decades. These use Swiss cheese instead of cheddar cheese for a wonderful, savory flavor. Great for tailgating parties or for a quick lunch or dinner menu. Add Tomato Soup and you have a comfort food meal that will knock your socks off.

Notes
NOTE: Don’t cook sandwiches on too high of a heat with a cast-iron skillet or the sandwiches will start smoking and scorch.NOTE: It is better to cook the sandwiches over a lower heat for a little longer so the cheese melts nicely.NOTE: If the bread is browned and the cheese hasn’t melted sufficiently, place sandwich on a microwavable plate and microwave for about 10-15 seconds.
