Peachy Fruit Salad is refreshing and so marvelous to the taste buds! This luscious Fruit Salad is made with assorted canned and fresh fruits and includes a can of Peach Pie Filling. It's great for summer holidays and potlucks, but this can be made all year round. Festive and elegant enough or any Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner menu.
16oz. canchunk pineappledrained, but reserve juice
14oz. canmandarin orange segmentsdrained
1lb.fresh strawberrieswashed and sliced
1 1/2cupsred grapessliced in halves
1largeGala Applesliced and dipped in reserved pineapple juice
3largeripe bananassliced and dipped in reserved pineapple juice to stop spoilage and browning
Instructions
Reserve pineapple juice.
Dip apple slices and bananas in the reserved pineapple juice.
Mix together all remaining ingredients and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes
NOTE: Use the reserved pineapple juice to prevent browning in bananas, apples, or any other fresh fruits like pears or peaches.NOTE: I don't add bananas unless I am serving the salad immediately.
