Crockpot Beef Stroganoff

Crockpot Beef Stroganoff is an irresistible, mouthwatering entree that's incredibly easy to prepare. This scrumptious main dish uses stew beef, onions, mushrooms, mushroom soup and sour cream and cooks up deliciously in the crockpot. It's served over hot, cooked noodles. Recipe is kid-friendly but nice enough to serve company.

2 1/2 - 3 lbs. ½” thick round steak sirloin sizzlers (or stew beef) 1/2 cup flour 2 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. ground black pepper 2 medium onions sliced and separated into rings 8 oz. can mushrooms sliced, undrained 1 can cream of mushroom soup or condensed beef broth 1/4 cup water 1 1/2 cups sour cream 1 lb. noodles cooked and drained 1 tsp. fresh parsley for garnish, if desired
Cut steak into small strips or pieces and roll in flour in a small bowl.
Spray crockpot with cooking spray.
Put floured beef in crock pot and add salt and pepper.
Add all other ingredients EXCEPT sour cream and noodles.
Cook about 4-5 hours on high or 8 hours on low.
Add sour cream just before serving.
Heat through.
Sprinkle with parsley, for garnish, if desired.
Serve over hot, buttered noodles.
NOTE: If you prefer a thicker stroganoff, drain the water from the mushroom cans. The recipe will still cook down fine.
