Scalloped Chicken is a delicious chicken entree using readily available ingredients. This quick and easy chicken main dish uses Stove-Top Stuffing Mix and Cream of Mushroom Soup. The flavors are delicious and the entree is so kid-friendly. Our children loved this chicken main dish when they were growing up. If you need something for weeknight suppers, Scalloped Chicken is marvelous.
4tbsp.unsalted butteras needed to prepare stuffing mix
Instructions
Pour 1 ¼ cups chicken broth into a large Dutch oven.
Add butter and celery and bring to a boil.
Cook over medium-high heart and allow celery to soften--about 5 minutes.
Stir in contents of stuffing mix package.
Remove from heat.
Allow stuffing to sit 5 minutes.
Add chicken, sour cream and cream of mushroom soup.
Stir to combine.
Heat through a few minutes so mixture gets hot again.
Serve.

NOTE: Preparation time assumes chicken is already cut up in bite sized pieces.NOTE: You can use canned chicken or leftover rotisserie chicken for this recipe.
