Montreal Seasoned Steak

Equipment

  • 1 electric or gas grill
  • measuring spoons
  • 1 meat platter

Ingredients
  

  • 4 steaks NY Strip, Ribeye or other tender cut of sirloin
  • 1 tsp. Montreal steak seasoning as needed
  • Cooking spray to spray the grill
  • 1 sharp knife to test meat for doneness

Instructions
 

  • Heat gas grill.
  • Spray grill with cooking spray.
  • Season both sides of steak heavily with Montreal Steak seasoning.
  • Place on grill approximately 4-5 minutes per side depending on thickness of meat for about medium-rare, a few minutes longer on each side for medium or medium-well doneness.
  • Test with a knife by cutting part of meat and cook until desired doneness.
  • Serve with steak sauce, BBQ sauce or just like it is!

Notes

NOTE: This is not exactly a science! Each cut of meat will have a different thickness and each palate will require different length of cooking. Cook to your enjoyment!
 
NOTE: For the purpose of these pictures I grilled only two steaks.
