  • 1 9-inch pie plate torte pan or round baking dish, or 9x9" baking dish

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. ctn. sour cream see note below
  • 8 oz. jar chunky salsa a cup or two--it doesn't need to be exact (half of a 16-ounce jar)
  • 1 cup sharp Cheddar cheese shredded
  • 2 oz. jar ripe olives sliced, drained
  • 2 or 3 green onions diced
  • tortilla chips to serve with

Instructions

  • Spread sour cream in a 9x9” dish.
  • Pour on and spread out ½ jar (8 ounces) of chunky salsa.
  • Sprinkle with shredded cheese.
  • Add drained sliced olives and diced green onions.
  • Serve with tortilla chips.
  • Double ingredients for a 9x13” pan.

Notes

NOTE: Sometimes I add taco seasoning to the sour cream and spread in dish to add flavor.

NOTE: If you prefer the dip hotter, use refried beans with diced chilies, hot chunky salsa, and/or sliced, canned jalapeño peppers, as desired.
