Chipped Beef Dip is a wonderful Keto-friendly, gluten free appetizer. It uses only a handful of ingredients so it's so quick and easy to whip up. This recipe is terrific for tailgating parties or special sporting events like the Super Bowl, March Madness, the NBA finals or the Stanley Cup Playoffs. It's a delicious appetizer that almost anyone can eat. Best served at room temperature with assorted crackers, croissants or fresh veggies.
16oz. pkg.cream cheesesoftened to room temperature
8oz. sour cream
4oz. pkg.Buddig beefrinsed and sliced in strips (two 2-ounce packages)
2.25oz. can ripe olivessliced and drained
1/4tsp.onion powderor to taste
Instructions
Place softened cream cheese, sour cream and onion powder in a medium mixing bowl.
Beat with electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
Stir in beef and olives.
Serve with crackers, on croissants or with fresh veggies.
Refrigerate leftovers, but let sit out for an hour or two to serve again.
Notes
NOTE: This is actually better if this appetizer sits out about two hours before serving to soften the cream cheese.NOTE: Buddig beef is usually found in the lunchmeat section of the grocery store.NOTE: Be sure to rinse the beef before slicing and using in recipe to remove excess salt.
