  • 1 large cookie sheet
  • parchment paper
  • 1 plate
  • 1 fork
  • measuring cups
  • measuring spoons

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp. dried basil
  • 1 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1 tsp. dried thyme
  • 1 tsp. dried chives
  • 1 tsp. dried parsley
  • 1/2 tsp. sea sal
  • 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 1 cup Italian Blend Cheese grated (in a can)
  • 6 cube steaks

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350º.
  • Line a large cookie sheet with parchment paper or spray a 10x15” glass baking dish with cooking spray; set aside.
  • Combine seasonings and Parmesan cheeses on a plate.
  • Stir well to combine.
  • Dredge cube steaks in Parmesan cheese mixture.
  • Dredge both sides of cube steaks about three times patting the crumbs into the steaks each time.
  • Place cube steaks in prepared baking dish.
  • If desired, sprinkle remaining Parmesan Romano mixture over top of the cube steaks.
  • Bake at 350º approximately 30-45 minutes depending on the thickness of the meat.

Notes

NOTE: You can substitute regular Parmesan cheese in a can if you cannot locate the Italian blend with Romano.

NOTE: Start checking the meat for doneness at the 30 minute mark. It may take a full 45 minutes, but you don't want to overcook the steaks so they become tough.
