1 sharp knife to chop the Reese's Peanut Butter Cups

Ingredients
1boxGolden Recipe butter flavor cake mix
1/2cupsalted buttermelted (1 stick)
3largeeggsdivided use
8oz. pkg.cream cheesesoftened
1lb. boxpowdered sugar(or weigh out one pound of powdered sugar in the two-pound packages)
2cupsReese's Peanut Butter Cupschopped (measure after chopping)
Instructions
Unwrap Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.
Place on cutting board and chop until you get two cups; set aside.
Mix together cake mix, melted butter and one egg in a large mixing bowl.
Pat the mixture in the bottom of a greased 9 x 13” glass baking dish.
Mix remaining two eggs, cream cheese and a one-pound box of powdered sugar together in a separate mixing bowl with electric mixer.
Beat until smooth and pour over crust mixture.
Sprinkle chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups over top, spreading evenly.
Bake at 350° for 40-45 minutes, or until mixture is set on top and not wiggly.
Notes
NOTE: For easier cutting, refrigerate bars a few hours before cutting.NOTE: A 35.6-oz. bag of miniature Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups yielded 7 cups of chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.NOTE: I sprinkle a little bit of flour over top of the crust layer to spread the mixture in the pan so the mixture doesn’t stick to my hands while pressing it into the baking dish.
