Brickle Brownies

Brickle Brownies are absolutely spectacular. These luscious brownies are filled with Heath English Toffee Bits. They have a huge chocolaty and toffee flavor that can't be beat. Whether you eat them plain or with caramel or chocolate syrup drizzled over top, these brownies will be a huge hit for any party. Marvelous dessert for potlucks, tailgating parties or holiday baking.

1 cup unsalted butter softened 1 cup granulated sugar 1 cup light brown sugar packed 3 large eggs 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1 tsp. cream of tartar 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. kosher salt or sea salt 3 1/2 cups UNBLEACHED all-purpose flour bleached flour toughens baked goods 8 oz. pkg. Heath English toffee bits
Mix butter, sugars, eggs, vanilla, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt with an electric mixer until smooth.
Stir in flour and Heath English Toffee Bits with a wooden spoon until well combined.
Spray a 9x13” glass baking dish with cooking spray.
Spread brownie mixture into pan.
Smooth the top with the back of a wet tablespoon until surface is smooth.
Bake at 350° for about 50-55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
NOTE: Baking time depends on your oven. Mine took about 55 minutes to bake thoroughly, but these may be done in 25-30 minutes if your oven bakes fast.
