Charcoal-Grilled Sugared Ham

This quick and easy 4-ingredient recipe can be served in less than a half hour. Center-cut ham slices are basted with a tasty horseradish sauce while grilling. Gluten free.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 fully cooked center-cut smoked ham slices, 1 inch thick about 3 ½ lbs.
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/3 cup horseradish

Instructions
 

  • Score each side of ham ¼ inch deep in diamond pattern.
  • Combine remaining ingredients in small saucepan; heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
  • Place ham slices on grill 3 inches from medium coals; cook 15 minutes on each side, basting frequently with brown sugar mixture.

Notes

NOTE: These ham steaks will not need to be cooked as long on each side if you're using a gas grill.
