Chicken Parmesan Casserole is a breathtaking and mouthwatering six-ingredient entree. This wonderful chicken casserole includes broccoli in a rich cream sauce with cream cheese and parmesan cheese. It's terrific for company dinners like Mother's Day or Father's Day. Gluten free.

4 chicken breasts boneless, skinless 20 oz. pkg. frozen broccoli florets two ten-ounce packages 2 cups half-and-half or heavy whipping cream 16 oz. pkg. cream cheese cubed (2 blocks) 3/4 tsp. garlic salt or more, if desired 12 oz. parmesan cheese shredded, divided use
Cook chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces.
Place frozen broccoli in a lightly oiled 9x13” pan.
Place chicken evenly over broccoli.
Place half-and-half, cream cheese, garlic salt, and 2 cups Parmesan cheese in a medium sauce pan; cook over low to medium heat.
Whisk and cook until mixture is heated through.
You will have to use a whisk to make a smooth sauce.
Pour sauce over top of chicken in casserole dish.
Bake at 350° for 30 minutes, remove from oven and top with additional cup of Parmesan cheese, or more, as desired.
Return to oven for an additional 5-10 minutes.
Serve.
NOTE: You can place a cup of parmesan cheese over top of the casserole before baking and add more after. Either way works fine.
