Equipment

  • 1 Dutch oven with lid (or large sauce pan)
  • 1 colander
  • 1 paring knife to trim green beans
  • 1 sharp knife to mince garlic
  • measuring cups
  • measuring spoons

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup butter salted or unsalted (1/2 stick)
  • 1 tsp. dried rosemary
  • 1 tbsp. dried parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic finely minced
  • 1/2 tsp. sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 1 lb. fresh green beans washed and ends trimmed

Instructions
 

  • Wash and trip green beans.
  • Place in a large sauce pan and cover with water.
  • Bring beans to a boil.
  • Reduce heat and simmer about 10-15 minutes, or until beans are tender.
  • Drain beans in a colander.
  • Meanwhile, in a small measuring cup, melt butter in microwave.
  • Add rosemary, parsley, garlic, salt and pepper.
  • Stir until well mixed; set aside.
  • After draining beans, combine in a serving bowl with the Garlic Rosemary Butter.
  • Toss to combine well.
  • Serve immediately.
