Peppered New York Strip Steaks use a tasty dry rub to season the steaks, then they're grilled to perfection! This is a terrific way to enjoy steak--whether New York Strip, Rib Eyes or T-Bone. These steaks can be ready for the grill in about 5 minutes! Great entree for company or week-night dinners.

6 New York Strip Steaks 1 1/2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil 1 tbsp. garlic powder 1 tbsp. paprika 2 tsp. dried thyme 2 tsp. dried oregano 1 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper 1 tsp. sea salt 1 tsp. lemon pepper seasoning 1 tsp. cayenne pepper Brush steaks lightly with olive oil.
In a small bowl, combine all the seasonings and mix thoroughly.
Sprinkle seasonings over both sides of each steak and gently press the seasonings into each steak.
Cover and refrigerate steaks for one hour (if desired, but it does provide better flavor).
Grill steaks over medium heat turning once during cooking time.
Cook steaks until desired doneness: rare, medium rare, medium, medium well or well-done.
(Approximately 15 minutes total time).
