Snickers Almond Cookies are mouthwatering and irresistible. These amazing cookies use Snickers Almond Candy Bars so they have a great chocolate and almond taste without peanut butter. This dessert will cure any sweet tooth craving. It's wonderful for tailgating parties, potlucks, summer holiday fun and family reunions.
Grease or spray large cookie sheets with cooking spray.
In large bowl, combine butter, sugars, vanilla, eggs, salt and baking soda.
Beat at medium speed with an electric mixer until fluffy.
Stir in flour and Snickers Almond bars with a wooden spoon until combined.
Keep stirring; this may take 4-5 minutes.
Scoop dough with a one-quarter cup cookie scoop and place cookies on prepared cookie sheets.
Be sure to pack the dough into the cookie scoop.
Bake for 13-15 minutes at 350 degrees, or until lightly browned.
Rotate cookies on racks every six minutes through cooking time.
Let cookies cool in pan for 5 minutes.
Remove to wire racks to cool completely.
Notes
NOTE: These are also good baked as brownies. Spread into a 10x15” cookie sheet and bake about 30 minutes at 350°.NOTE: Snickers candies have a lot of oil. In order to prevent the cookies from running in the pan I had to decrease the original amount of the butter. It may seem like the cookie mixture has too much flour, but you will need that much flour to absorb all of the oil from the candies while baking.NOTE: I was baking 3 to 6 racks at a time. I rotated the cookie sheets on racks every six minutes while baking. My cookies took between 18-20 minutes to bake completely.
