  • 1 9-inch pie plate
  • 1 large mixing bowl
  • 1 electric mixer
  • 1 wooden spoon
  • 1 sharp knife to chop Reese's Cups
  • measuring cups
  • measuring spoons

Ingredients
  

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup UNBLEACHED all-purpose flour (bleached flour toughens baked goods)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted and cooled slightly
  • 15.2 oz. bags Reese's miniature Peanut Butter Cups (two 7.6-oz. bags) chopped, wrappers removed, divided use (approximately 3 cups)
  • 1 unbaked pie shell

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 325°.
  • In large bowl, beat eggs until foamy; this will take 3-5 minutes.
  • Beat in flour, granulated sugar and brown sugar until well-blended.
  • Blend in the cooled, melted butter.
  • Stir in 2 cups chopped Reese’s miniature peanut butter cups.
  • Pour into pie shell.
  • Bake at 325° for 45 minutes; remove from oven.
  • Sprinkle remaining Reese’s miniature peanut butter cups on top.
  • Continue baking an additional 30 minutes.
  • Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
