Notes
NOTE: The ingredients for the streusel topping (1 cup flour, ½ stick butter and 1/3 cup granulated sugar) will work in a regular 10-inch deep dish pie plate. (When you’re making your own crust). It is too much topping for the unbaked shells purchased at the grocery. You may want to spread only about half of the ingredients over top.NOTE: My favorite ratio for the topping is a little different. I prefer ½ cup flour, ¼ cup (1/2 stick butter) and 1/3 cup granulated sugar. This provides ample topping without being too dry or too much filling.
